ELIM Katsina's Community Outreach wing is driven by Jesus' command to care for "the least of these" — the widows, orphans, disabled persons and the economically vulnerable in our communities. We believe that genuine faith must be expressed in practical acts of love and service.
Every year, ELIM Katsina organises targeted outreach programmes reaching dozens of families across Katsina State with food, clothing, financial assistance and emotional support — all in the name of Jesus Christ.
"Pure religion… is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress." — James 1:27
We provide emotional support, financial aid, food parcels and clothing to widows in our communities, ensuring they are not forgotten or neglected.
Orphaned children receive school supplies, food, clothing and pastoral care. We work to connect orphans with responsible guardians within our church network.
Physically disabled members of our community receive mobility aids, food support and regular pastoral visits to ensure their dignity and inclusion.
Economically vulnerable families — especially those affected by illness, bereavement or unemployment — receive food and financial assistance in times of crisis.
We support talented students from low-income backgrounds with school fees, stationery and mentorship to keep them in education.
Elderly members who live alone receive regular visits, prayer, food and fellowship — reminding them that they are valued members of God's family.
Our outreach work is only possible through the generosity of individuals, churches and organisations who share our heart for the vulnerable. There are several ways to get involved:
